volunteer with us!

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community and the causes you care about. It's also a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and gain valuable work experience.

Current Priorities

BOARD DIRECTORS

Help shape arts & culture in your community by joining our Board of Directors.

Note that we are a working board. We are most interested in candidates who have the time and interest in doing the work required to run the organization. While time and willingness to pitch in are the most important qualities, the ideal candidate with have a background in one or more of the following areas: arts programming, finance, accounting, administration, human resources, project management. Anyone who has a interest in the arts as well as availability to donate some time to support our work is encouraged to reach out. No art experience is necessary - just an interest in supporting the arts!

Board directors are expected to attend a monthly board meeting, sit on at lease one active committee, and help out with some programs and projects as they arise. Expected time commitment is approximately 5+ hours per month for regular Board Directors, and 5-10+ hours per week for executive positions (President, VP, and Treasurer).

If you are interested in joining the board, please contact president@hopedistrictartscouncil.com or vp@hopedistrictartscouncil.com

EVENT SUPPORT

We hold numerous events each year that we greatly rely on volunteer support for. We need people to sell tickets at the event/door, help with setup/takedown, catering, decorations, event promotion, and more. If you're interested in helping out "wherever needed" this opportunity is for you. No special skills or experience necessary. If you'd like to volunteer your time at events please contact info@hopedistrictartscouncil.com or call 604-869-3400
