About the Event
Shannon Perna is teaching a Youth Wheel Throwing Class on Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 6pm. Class starts Wed, Oct 29th!! Dont miss this one!!
Beginning Wheel for Youth (13 – 18) introduces young artists to the fundamentals of wheel
throwing. Students will not only learn how to center clay, form basic shapes, and finish their
pieces through trimming and glazing, but will also learn safe studio practices, key vocabulary,
and gain a basic understanding of what happens to the clay in the kiln.
Shannon Perna is a ceramic artist with six years of experience with both wheel thrown and
