About the Event

Instructor bio

Ernestine has taken several exploratory art courses and workshops over the years, including metal sculpture at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design and figure drawing courses in Yorkville, Ontario. Ernestine began pottery with Vijaya Morrison of Rainforest Pottery in Yarrow in 2009 and has continued on at the Art Machine in Hope where she is presently an instructor in wheel throwing. She is fascinated by the idea of creating a simple vessel or a more complex form out of the basic elements of the earth. Ernestine also gets a great deal of pleasure from other forms of artistic expression, including watercolour painting.
