Open studio events are a mix of wheel and hand building potters at the Art Machine for our community to improve on their skills. These events are unsupervised and participants are expected to know their way around the pottery studio. Please note the host is not there to teach.

Instructor bio:

"As a lifelong artist I've always had multiple art projects on the go, and I'm always on the look out for a new medium or technique that I can hyperfixate on. I take my biggest inspirations from nature and my favourite movies, in particular the practical effects in horror. There's just something beautiful in knowing those horrible creatures were lovingly created by someone's hands. I started pottery in 2019 and became quickly obsessed. I do a few markets a year in Hope and Chilliwack selling mostly pottery, but a little of everything I do at home as well."
