Holly Smith is a watercolour and acrylic painter with over 18 years experience. She belongs to the Federation of Canadian Artists, The Okanagan Artists of Canada, and the Hope Arts Gallery. For the past five years she has been a teacher at the Art Machine with the goal of introducing people to the joys of both mediums. She likes to teach in multi- week modules where students really get a chance to explore the subject area and learn more about colour, design, values and mark making.

This 4-class acrylic painting module on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am to 12:00pm in April will focus on colour! The class will play with different palettes, colour temperature, saturation, and value. Subject matter is up to the student and we will explore a different aspect of colour each week. This module begins on April 7th and ends on April 28th. Everyone welcome!!
