Youngblood is the creative, dream-pop brainchild of Alexis Young. Inspired by the likes of French electronic duo Air, the fiery Grace Jones, and a little bit of sultry Nancy Sinatra, Youngblood manages to mix dreamy, marshmallow sounds laced with dark, pulsating grooves, crafting a unique blend of artistic pop.

Jen is one of Vancouver’s most sought-after musicians, working as both a bandleader (Jen Hodge All Stars, Company B Jazz Band, etc) and a sideman (Diane Lines’ JUMP!, Universal Gospel Choir, Bria Skonberg, etc). She has directed and played with groups for CBC Radio and CTV productions, is a regular at major swing dance events all over the Pacific Northwest.
